Recovery is an evolution.   We help you find the new you.
Mental Health Services
In our private community clinics we address the wide mental health needs of people living not only in the inner regional city of Toowoomba, but also the adjacent rural and remote areas.
Rural patients can be treated with Telehealth. To make it accessible to the widest rural patient population we use telehealth or Skype consultations and or co-joint consultations with their General Practitioners and carers. The five Mental Health Nurses allow case management approach to optimise acute care and also chronic disease management in Toowoomba, Goondiwindi, Western Downs and Lockyer Valley under the funding of Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN.

Our Psychiatrist and five Mental Health Nurses complement a multidisciplinary model of care.
We assess and treat a wide range of referred patients aged 16 years and onwards and all psychiatric disorders, e.g., Anxiety Disorders (GAD, Social Phobia, Specific Phobias, Panic Disorder), OCD, PTSD, Depressive Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Substance Use and Behavioural Addiction Disorders, Dementia, Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Schizophrenia and other Psychotic Disorders, Eating Disorders, such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and Binge Eating Disorder, Sexual and Gender Dysphoria Disorders and Personality Disorders, such as Borderline Personality Disorder, etc.

We are committed to clinical excellence and participate in research and education.

We are constantly exploring opportunities and building partnerships with our health partners to enable our staff to engage in research, teaching, supervision and participate in conferences and work towards higher qualifications that their application of skills will improve the outcomes for our patients, carers, families and the community.
Treatment
At Mi-Mind Centre we provide treatment in a “biological-psychological-social” or holistic way. Clopine / Clozapine, rTMS (Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) is available. View our TMS brochure PDF and rTMS Outpatient Fact Sheet).

Pharmacotherapy with medication for mental illness (psychotropic drug/s) and/or supportive psychotherapy are usually the key ingredients of the treatment.
